Who we are

The Cup & Go Vouchers app and website are operated by Cup & Go, Qatar ("Cup & Go", "we"). They let customers view and use Cup & Go vouchers, and let Cup & Go staff redeem them at our counters.

Information we collect

• Customers: name, mobile number, optional email address, an optional PIN (stored only in hashed form), and the vouchers issued to you with their redemption history (date, branch, amount).
• Staff: name, work email and the redemptions you process.
• Technical data: IP address and device information recorded in security and audit logs.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell personal data.

Camera

The camera is used only in Counter mode, by Cup & Go staff, to scan a voucher QR code. The code is read on the device; no photos or videos are stored or uploaded.

How we use information

• To issue vouchers to you and send them to you by WhatsApp (via Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform).
• To let you sign in, see your balance and show your voucher QR code.
• To redeem vouchers at our branches and keep accurate financial and audit records.
• To send voucher-related messages such as redemption confirmations and expiry reminders.

Sharing

Your information is shared only with service providers that help us run the service: our hosting provider and Meta (WhatsApp) for message delivery. They process it on our behalf.

Retention and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This removes your name, mobile number, email and PIN and signs you out on all devices. Voucher and redemption records are kept, without your personal details, because they are financial records we are required to retain. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing the address below.

Security

Data is transferred over encrypted HTTPS connections. PINs and one-time codes are stored only in hashed form, and access is restricted by role.
